PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fully charge a battery, without stopping power compensating actions, such as the suppression of power ripple and the leveling of power. SOLUTION: In an object which is provided with batteries B1-Bn on the DC side of a power converter 15 connected via a transformer 14 for linkage between a dispersed power source 11 and load 13, and performs power compensating action by the batteries B1-Bn, the plural batteries B1-Bn are connected in parallel on the DC side of the power converter 15, and semiconductor switches SW1-SWn where thyristors TS1-TSn and diodes D1-Dn are in back-to-back parallel convection are inserted and connected between the power converter 15 and each battery B1-Bn, and a desired battery B1-Bn is fully charged by turning off the semiconductor switches SW1-SWn for the battery B1-Bn selected from among all batteries B1-Bn, while continuing power compensating action by the discharge power of the batteries B1-Bn by turning on the semiconductor switches SW1-SWn. |
