PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a print system capable of executing printing with a more optimum printer. SOLUTION: A plurality of shared printers 2 and a plurality of client PCs are connected to a network. A PC 3 can optionally select a printer 2. The PC 3 transmits a measurement start signal to the printer 2 to be used, and subsequently, movement is made up to the printer 2 to carry out a measurement end operation. A result obtained by measuring the time required for the period is used as decision reference in selecting the printer 2 executing printing.
