PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means which enables a user to produce a original incoming call tone which is more real. SOLUTION: In this incoming call tone setting system, a control part 2 instructs a sounding control part 7 to produce an incoming call tone, when an incoming signal to a portable telephone set is inputted from a reception circuit 6 of a radio part 1. The instructed sounding control part 7 reads out the contents of a memory exclusively used for original melodies of a memory 5 and converts them to an audible signal and outputs it as an incoming call melody. The memory 5 is provided with a memory for scales, where scales set by the user are stored, a memory for sounding time setting where the sounding time corresponding to individual set scales is stored, and a sound volume setting memory where sound volumes corresponding to individual set scales are stored, and the system is constituted with the sounding time and the sound volume of each of scales of the original melodies being made settable by the user. |
