PURPOSE: A device is provided to excellently display an image by joining a plurality of split images so as not to make joints distinct. CONSTITUTION: DSP circuits(55L1),(55R1) make an arithmetic operation of correcting image data in a lateral direction so that left/right split images are properly jointed and displayed in the lateral direction (1st direction), and the image data output from the DSP circuits(55L1),(55R1) are properly converted to be suitable for an arithmetic operation to correct the image data in a longitudinal direction (2nd direction) by properly changing the sequence of write and read addresses to/from frame memories(56L),(56R). Furthermore, DSP circuits(55L2),(55R2) make an arithmetic operation to correct image data read from the frame memories(56L),(56R), in the longitudinal direction so that the left/right split images are properly jointed in the longitudinal direction and displayed.
