<p>Dynamic force measurement methods and system for measuring forces applied to a structure (10) by use of accelerometers (12) attached to masses of the structure supported by one or more load cells. A load cell signal is combined with a summation of the accelerometer readings multiple by corresponding attached masses to produce a measurement of a force applied to the structure. An unknown applied force f(t) is determined by summing the load cell measured force with all other forces that exist between the load cell and the unknown force. The methods and systems can be employed in any type of load or forces measuring machine or device.</p> |
