Sensor (10) has metallic body with upright (16), attaching sensor to fixed frame, and interface upright (18) attaching object to weigh to sensor. Sensor also has two stop pieces (24, 26) extending horizontally from uprights. Two sets (40) of two nuts are placed on screw, one set above fixed stop piece (24), and one under. When overloading, one set of nuts gets in contact with stop face corresponding to stop piece (24). Stop piece (26) restrains interface upright to move further along direction of force, hence limiting deformation of sensor.
