PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foliage tapping machine for onion that never fails to cut off the foliage of the onions fed from the feeder. SOLUTION: A plurality of screwed rollers 2 are arranged in parallel in the perpendicular direction to the onion A feed line and flat rollers 3 are brought into press contact with individual screwed rollers to constitute the foliage-cutting rollers whereby the objective foliage tapping machine is provided for onions. Thus, the onions are conveyed through a plurality of the foliage- cutting roller, as they are forcibly rotated, and their foliage can be perfectly cut off with an extremely compact structure.
