PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To additionally provide a security function to a cassette device particularly storing a large number of sheets of cards for sale, in the lockable cassette device easily controlling the card for sale. SOLUTION: This cassette device comprises at least a cassette means 10 for storing a plurality of sheets of cards piled, gate means 21 for opening/closing a card outlet of this cassette means, means for preventing reverse operation when this gate means is opened, means for releasing this reverse operation preventing means when opening the gate means, and a means 61 for locking the gate means when it is closed.
