PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaction apparatus capable of putting the heat of reaction generated by catalytic reaction to practical use to conserve power. SOLUTION: A part of gas excepting a catalyst and a solid reaction product is extracted from a reaction tank 4 and guided to an expansion turbine 8B to be expanded to convert heat of reaction to the output of the rotary shaft of the turbine and a compressor 8A for compressing raw material gas arranged on the rotary shaft is driven to compress the raw material gas to send the same into a reaction tank 4 and a part of the unreacted gas extracted from the reaction tank 4 is guided to an expansion turbine 16B to be expanded and the compressor 16A arranged to the rotary shaft of the turbine is driven to compress the unreacted gas to send the same into the reaction tank 4. By this constitution, a motor consuming much power is omitted to enable power-saving operation. |
