<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a parting defect in a laminated substrate for a liquid crystal cell. SOLUTION: In this method of parting a laminated substrate (c) formed by laminating a first substrate (a) and a second substrate (b), into a plurality of liquid crystal cell substrates, a scribe line is first formed on one of the first substrate (a) and second substrate (b) along the boundary of the liquid crystal cell substrates, and then a plurality of parting force are applied by time sharing to the other substrate along the scribe line.</p> |
