PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cultivating buckwheat young greens ensuring rutin rich in buckwheat to be collected in the stage of its young greens rather than its fruits in order to efficiently take the rutin. SOLUTION: This method comprises the following practice: soil is incorporated with a relatively large quantity of an organic fertilizer and then kneaded to make ridges, to which urea and ammonium sulfate are then applied, the resultant ridges are sown with buckwheat seeds after soaked in water for about 3-20 h together with dry soil; a sufficient quantity of water is given to the seeds to effect germination in about 1 to 2 days, and about 7 to 15 days after germination, grown young greens are collected. Using the buckwheat young greens thus collected, the other objective juice rich in rutin is produced. |
