<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce stress transmitted from a mounting hole for tank to a continuous welding part and improve durability by expanding and forming a space between the continuous welding part and the mounting hole in a structure overlapping with flanges of divided tank members to be welded and opening the mounting hole for tank on the flanges. SOLUTION: A fuel tank is integrally formed by making divided steel plate tank members 2, 2 coincide with each other in the vertical direction and continuously welding 6 flanges 4 to each other which are provided on a surrounding part of each tank member 2. In this case, the continuous welding part 6 is curvedly provided so as to avoid a mounting hole 9 formed on the flanges 4. Namely, a detour part is provided and the detour shape is formed into a circular arc shape with the mounting hole 9 as a center so as to reduce stress transmission from the mounting hole 9 to the continuous welding part 6. Therefore, a recessed part 17 is molded in a side part (a vertical wall plate) 16 of the tank member 2 at a portion corresponding to the mounting hole 9 and the flanges 4 are provided with width expanding parts 18.</p> |
