PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an attenuated chicken anemia virus useful of preparation of vaccine applied to prevention, etc., of an infectious disease of a chicken anemia virus by including a DNA encoding a specific amino acid sequence. SOLUTION: This vaccine has a DNA encoding an amino acid sequence of formula (A), or a DNA encoding amino acid sequence in which one or plural amino acids are deleted, substituted or added in the formula (B) and encodes an amino acid sequence in which the amino acid corresponding to amino acid No 394 is histidine and relating to pathogenicity. The vaccine is preferably prepared by (i) cloning a genom DNA of a chicken anemia virus, (ii) modifying a sequence encoding glutamine to a sequence encoding histidine on the region of the genom DNA encoding the amino acid corresponding to No 394 of the amino acid number in the formula and inducing the modified genom DNA to cell, effecting an attenuated chicken anemia virus, including the virus as the active ingredient. |
