PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize and lighten a device while improving the reliability of excavation works in a tunnel boring machine. SOLUTION: In the TBM 10, a parallel link mechanism 23 is built between a drum 11 with a cutter head 13 and a press ring 19 at a rear, a movable type reaction receiver 34 is installed to a supporting frame 26 connected at the rear section of the drum 11 longitudinally movably, push-up jacks 37a, 37b, 37c, 37d are constructed among gripper receiving frames 35a, 35b, 35c, 35d longitudinally movable to the supporting frame 26 and upper gripper boxes 36a, 36b, 36c, 36d in the movable type receiver 34, and pairs of gripper shoes 39a, 39b, 39c, 39d are connected to gripper jacks 38a, 38b, 38c, 38d disposed into the gripper boxes 36a, 36b, 36c, 36d. |
