PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable wearing article capable of fitting to the bulges of the belly part and the hip part of a wearing person at the wearing time, and hardly providing a feeling of pressure to the wearing person. SOLUTION: This wearing article 1 has front and back girth parts 1a, upper thighs 7, a girth opening 4 and a pair of thigh openings 5, and plural pleats 9 are formed in the girth parts 1a so as to be extended in the girth direction and fixed at both sides. The pleats positioned at the upper part in the direction from the girth opening 4 to the thigh parts, cover nearly half of the pleats positioned at the lower part thereof one after another. Each of the pleats is preferably mutually connected so as to be peelable at the overlapped part.
