PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pressure-sensitive transfer tape capable of forming a good transfer coating membrane in both transferring means of the transferring means for carrying out the transfer by laterally moving a body to which the transfer coating membrane is transferred, with the tape pushed thereon, and the transferring means for carrying out the transfer by a pushing pressure from a pushing surface, when carrying out amendment or marking by using the pressure-sensitive transfer tape on the body to which the transfer coating membrane is transferred. SOLUTION: This pressure-sensitive transfer tape 6 having a pressure-sensitive transfer layer and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer at least on one surface of a substrate in order, is characterized by the whole transfer coating membrane comprising the pressure-sensitive transfer layer and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and having <=40 g/mm2 breaking strength and <=10% elongation.
