PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attach and detach contact plates provided with ball polishing cloth stretched thereon. SOLUTION: This ball polishing/lifting device transfers pachinko balls upward while polishing them with ball polishing cloth stretched on contact plates 3a, 3b provided at a frame 2, during the upward motion of a conveyor belt B formed out of an endless belt stretched between a driving pulley P1 provided at the lower part of the frame 2 and an upper pulley P2 provided at the upper part. The contact plates 3a, 3b are rotatably journalled by hinge mechanisms 10a, 10b detached from the frame 2 when moving the contact plates 3a, 3b upward at the upper and lower parts on one edge side in a longitudinal direction and journalled while being positioned into a specified position of the frame 2 when moving the contact plates 3a, 3b downward, and the contact plates 3a, 3b are latched by latch mechanisms 20a, 20b respectively provided at the upper and lower parts on the other edge side in the longitudinal direction when the contact plates 3a, 3b are adjusted to the frame 2.
