PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively maintain a hood at a lifted position with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This vehicular hood device lifts up a hood 13 of a vehicular front part a predetermined amount when a vehicle collides with an obstacle and elevatingly maintains this lifted position by a hood retaining mechanism 20. This hood retaining mechanism 20 is a doglegged link capable of extending and bending to correspond to a vertical movement of the hood 13, and of upper and lower links constituting this doglegged link, the lower link 23 is swingably attached to a body frame 14 and the upper link 25 is swingably attached to the hood 13. A hinge part 26 connecting the upper link 25 to the lower link 23 is offsetted toward a vehicular rear when the hood 13 is in a lifted state. The hood retaining mechanism 20 is provided with opening limiting stoppers 23a and 25a limiting a fully-opened opening of the doglegged link. |
