PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hand-type clock that does not require any thinking for recognizing time, can visually recognize time, and prevent time from being recognized by mistake. SOLUTION: In the hand-type clock with an hour hand 5 and a minute hand 2, an intermittent mechanism by a toothed wheel or the like for performing intermittent operation where the hand 5 stops while indicating a scale for indicating the position of numbers at each hour is provided, thus eliminating the need for thinking for recognizing time, enabling time to be recognized visually, and preventing time from being recognized by mistake.
