PURPOSE: Provided is an alkali-zinc secondary battery using separators having different moisture rates and pore sizes, which can prevent the rise of internal pressure of the battery by rapidly absorbing oxygen and hydrogen gas generated from a charging and discharging process. CONSTITUTION: The alkali-zinc secondary battery comprises: a polyamide separator(3) containing an electrolyte and mounted on the outer side of a nickel cathode(1), which is made of a nylon nonwoven fabric having a thickness of 100micrometer and the moisture rate of 300%; a cotton separator(6) mounted on the outer side of a zinc anode(2) and made of paraffin-treated cellulose nonwoven fabric, which prevents zinc dendrite, generated in charging, from passing and rapidly absorbs the oxygen gas generated from the nickel cathode(1); a polypropylene film(4) preventing the generation of the zinc dendrite, which is mounted between the zinc anode(2) and the nickel cathode(1); a silver-coated polypropylene film(5) accelerating the decomposition of the hydrogen gas.
