<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive charge type toner less liable to a change in the quantity of electric charges even after an environmental change and long- term printing and capable of retaining stable electrostatic chargeability and to provide a two-component developer containing the positive charge type toner. SOLUTION: The positive charge type toner comprises fine resin particles containing a bonding resin and a colorant and an additive having silica (silica A) made hydrophobic by treatment with an organopolysiloxane having a nitrogen atom in a side change and silica (silica B) made hydrophobic by treatment with an organopolysiloxane having no nitrogen atom in a side change in a silica A to silica B weight ratio of (60:40) to (90:10). The two-component developer comprises the positive charge type toner and a carrier coated with a coating material containing a fluororesin or a silicone resin.</p> |
