<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a chip resistor which has a simple structure and can be easily mounted, regardless of direction. SOLUTION: An inner pipe 10 of a nozzle 8 is filled with a resistance material 5a containing binder, which is previously kneaded and vacuum-deaerated. A part between the inner pipe 10 and an outer pipe 9 is filled with insulating material 4a containing binder, which is previously kneaded and vacuum- deaerated in advance. From a small diameter side, the materials 5a and 4a are pushed out and molded in one body, and an obtained columnar molded object 18 is suitably cut in the axial direction and baked. Beveling is performed with a barrel polishing machine, silver paste is printed on both ends in the axial direction, connection with a resistor facing the end surface is made, electrodes 3 stretching to 5 surfaces of the peripheral surface are formed, and a chip resistor 1 is formed. The resistance value is suitably adjusted by heating processing or voltage trimming. The chip resistor 1 becomes symmetric in the axial direction. Restrictions in the mounting direction are not generated, mounting is facilitated, and mounting performance can be improved.</p> |
