PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workflow server and a client terminal which facilitate business process definition. SOLUTION: The workflow server 1 has a file 10 for storing definition data as components of a business process in addition to a workflow database 30 and is further equipped with a component managing function 20 which outputs a list of the component names of a data set stored in the file 10 on a client terminal picture, reads out definition data corresponding to a component that a user specifies, and outputs the data to the client terminal.
