TEST ELEMENT FOR COLORIMETRIC MEASUREMENT OF GASEOUS AND/OR STEAM CONSTITUENT OXIDIZABLE IN GAS MIXTURE, ITS USE, AND BENZIDINE DERIVATIVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a test element that is stable even in an oxidation matrix with a strong indicator constituent, and at the same time exhibits great change in color intensity especially by applying an oxidizer and an oxidized redox indicator onto a support material. SOLUTION: Onto a support material, at least one kind of oxidizer and at least one kind of a redox indicator are applied. In this case, the redox indicator is a test element for the colorimetric measurement of a gaseous and/or seam constituent that is oxidized for existing and can be oxidized in gas mixture. As a result, a usable compound shows high stability in a strong oxidation matrix for especially giving an advantage to a system where the indicator is brought into contact with an oxidation reagent for a long time. As furthermore advantages, a detection limitation or the number of processes in a test tube can be reduced, and an oxidizer with slight change in color can be used during a reaction process.
