PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute the loading of film rewound halfway in a short time in a camera system having an MRC function (the program searching function of halfway rewound film). SOLUTION: This camera is provided with a film feeding motor 57 to feed the film of a cartridge, a magnetic head 41 arranged in the vicinity of the cartridge loaded and recording specified information in a magnetic recording layer in the periphery of the edge part of the film in a longitudinal direction during the running of the film and reading the specified information recorded, and a CPU 51 to write specified photographed magnetic information by the magnetic head 41 at the photographed information recording area of the magnetic recording layer corresponding to the space between respective frames of the film and on the side of a film top end part rather than each photographed frame during the rewinding of the film fed from the cartridge when it is rewound at the inside of the cartridge in the middle of photographing.
