<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive horizontal displacement-recording device with a simple configuration that can record the rocking of a building due to an earthquake or the like, and the building for easily acquiring information on an input earthquake movement and information on the response property of a building for the input earthquake movement. SOLUTION: A horizontal displacement-recording device 1 records the rocking of a building, and is provided with a rocking body 2 that is rocked and displaced when the building is rocked, a recording plate 3 where the displacement of the rocking body 2 is recorded, and a writing means 4 that is provided in the rocking body 2 and writes the displacement of the rocking body 2 to the recording plate 3. In the building, at least one horizontal displacement-recording device 1 is installed on the foundation, and at least another horizontal displacement-recording device 1 is installed at the back of a hut on the first floor or on a second floor or higher.</p> |
