PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray generating device capable of certainly maintaining the optimum operating temp. of an X-ray tube even if the structure is such that the trunk of the X-ray tube is put inside a molding. SOLUTION: An X-ray generating device 1 is structured so that a target 5 of X-ray tube 3 is accommodated in a trunk part 7, which is accommodated in a molded part (17) and is unlikely to be influenced by a thermal change of the external air, and a stable condition in thermal terms can be kept despite a high temperature. On the contrary, the side with an electron gun 4 is influenced by a thermal change of the external air, and it is necessary to stabilize thermally. This is not established by unstable blowing and cooling using a fan, but the temp. on the side with the electron gun 4 is stabilized quickly by introducing such an arrangement that cooling pipings 30 are installed around the part of a casing S on its side with the electron gun 4 and a refrigerant flows in the piping 30. That is, the part contacting with the external air is stabilized thermally on the side with the electron gun 4, and the optimum operating temperature of the X-ray tube 3 is maintained by adjusting the amount of refrigerant and the flowing velocity inside the piping 30.
