A company giving out information prepares information for other companies to access via a telecommunications network for retrieval via terminals (7-9). Access is granted only after an authorisation indicator has been input. The information is displayed in the form of a dynamic screen, refreshed for each enquiry. Only information specific to the user is displayed. Further information is offered in response to individual questions to the contact persons at the company giving out information.
