PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging seal which can be easily attached to an article to be hung at a low cost so that the article to be hung without being equipped with a hanging means can be stored or displayed under a hanging state. SOLUTION: This hanging seal comprises an affixing section 12 the whole body of which is made of a flexible sheet, and on the rear surface of which an adhesive layer is provided, and a free piece 11 which is connected to the affixing section 12, and can rise from the affixing section 12. Then, in the free piece 11, an insertion hole 10 is formed. In this case, the length of the free piece 11 is set in such a manner that when the free piece 11 is folded back at the border edge section with the affixing section 12, the insertion hole 10 may be located on the outside of the external end edge of the affixing section 12.
