PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a grade of a cutting object surface, and to enhance cutting performance by removing a recess/projection of a cutting edge by a grinding streak by polishing after forming a film on the cutting edge in the vicinity of the rotational center of at least a ball blade. SOLUTION: After forming a film, a ball end mill and an abrasive are moved to be combined with a kind of abrasive, and the grain size, a dispersant and clay are adjusted to realize extremely small work. After polishing/removal, a notched ridgeline is removed by polishing only in a peripheral extremely little area of the ridgeline, and a grinding streak is not observed in a removed part. A defect of a ridgeline part, particularly, the so-called droplet being a defect caused at evaporation time is also removed by the polishing. Thus, the ridgeline is uniformized by edge processing after forming the film, cutting performance is improved, finishing accuracy is stably improved when used to cut a bottom surface, and the tool service life is lengthened.
