PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the drainage performance of a drain pipe in a low-story building by forming an acceptor section and a spigot section, and providing rotary vanes applying turning force to drainage on the spigot section. SOLUTION: This drain pipe joint 1 for a low-story building is provided with an acceptor section 2 at the upper section and a spigot section 3 at the lower section, branch pipe connection sections 4 are provided in three ways on a collection section 1A formed between the acceptor section 2 and spigot section 3, and rotary vanes 5 for applying turning force to drainage are radially formed at four uniformly spaced arrangement on the inner face of the spigot section 3. Since the rotary vanes 5 are formed on the inner face of the spigot section 3, turning force can be applied to both the drainage flowing down from an upper vertical pipe 7 and the drainage flowing in from a branch pipe 10, and an air core can be generated more effectively. Turning force can be applied by the rotary vanes 5 in spite of a compact structure without prolonging the length of the joint 1, and the drain pipe joint 1 easy to install and handle and excellent in drainage performance can be provided.
