PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food preservation system capable of hygienically preserving food in an exposed state. SOLUTION: A housing chamber 7 which opens to a front surface is constituted in a main body 4 and the food is exhibited in the exposed state in the housing chamber. The system has an air cleaning system for forming clean air and shelves 16 installed in plural stages in the housing chamber. The system has blow-off ports 12, 19 and 21 respectively formed at the front ends of the respective shelves and the upper edges of the openings of the housing chamber and suction ports 34, 34 and 29 respectively formed at the front ends of the respective shelves and the lower edges of the openings of the housing chamber. The clean air from the air cleaning means is blown off from the respective blow-off ports toward the openings of the housing chamber and are sucked from the respective suction ports.
