PHTHALOCYANINE COMPOUND, AQUEOUS INK COMPOSITION AND COLORED MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound capable of providing a coloring matter having a black hue preferably of a monochrome suitable for ink-jet recording, exhibiting water resistance and light-resistant fastness of printed material close to those of a pigment-based ink by reacting a specific aminophthalocyanine with a (meth)acrylic acid. SOLUTION: This compound is obtained by reacting (A) an aminophthalocyanine of the formula (M is two hydrogen atoms; m is an integer of <=4) with (B) (meth)acrylic acid. The compound is obtained preferably by using the component B of 3-10 times as much as the component A and reacting them preferably at 60-120 deg.C. The compound is useful for a black coloring matter and an aqueous black ink composition readable by a near infrared light suitable for bar-cord printing, etc.
