<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fertilizing method of paddy field by utilizing mowed grass and pruned trees. SOLUTION: Mowed grass and pruned trees are cut into chips of about 15 mm size (step S30). The cut chipped mowed grass and pruned trees are scattered on surface soil of paddy field after harvesting in about 10 cm thickness (step S40). The paddy field is plowed at a depth of about 10 cm from the surface soil by a tiller, etc., and the surface soil of the paddy field and the chipped mowed grass and pruned trees are stirred (step S50). The paddy field are allowed to stand as it is for about six months or longer (step S60), so that the chipped mowed grass and pruned trees are decomposed by soil microorganisms represented by bacteria and Bacillus natto in the surface soil of the paddy field and made into a fertilizer. Several months before a rice transplanting period, soil in the paddy field is plowed to a depth of about 20-30 cm by a tiller, etc., to restir the soil (step S70). Consequently the formation of fertilizer from the chipped mowed grass and pruned trees by bacteria, soil microorganisms, etc., are promoted to fertilize the paddy field.</p> |
