PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize an engine speed to attain improvement of convenience for use, by connecting a generator concurrently an electric motor to an engine driving an oil hydraulic pump, and promoting saving of energy while small size capacity of the engine is attained. SOLUTION: This driving gear for a work machine comprises an engine, oil hydraulic pump, generator and electric motor, battery, first controller charging the battery with power generated by the generator and electric motor to drive the generator and electric motor by using power of the battery, and a controller. When an oil hydraulic pump input is smaller than an engine output, the engine is operated between a prescribed preset rotational speed and a high idle rotational speed. When the oil hydraulic pump input is larger than the engine output, the oil hydraulic pump input is decreased, the generator and electric motor is operated as the electric motor, to compensate the engine output, and the engine is operated at a preset rotational speed. |
