摘要 PURPOSE: A method for sintering iron ore is provided which not only reduces solid fuel but also improves quality and recovery ratio of sintered ore by sintering the iron ore in the state that quantity of heat is uniformly applied to the iron ore in an elevation direction of sintering layer. CONSTITUTION: In a method for sintering a sintering raw material using an iron ore sintering apparatus comprising a sintering transfer car transferring the sintering raw material and a plurality of wind boxes which are positioned at the lower part of the sintering transfer car so as to suck in air required in the sintering reaction, the method for sintering iron ore comprises the steps of dividing a sintering raw material layer(8) on the sintering transfer car into a lower sintering raw material layer consisted of not more than 1/3 of an elevation of the sintering raw material layer, an intermediate sintering raw material layer corresponding to 1/3 to 2/3 of the elevation of the sintering raw material layer and an upper sintering layer corresponding to 2/3 or more of the elevation of the sintering raw material layer; measuring temperature distributions per elevations of the sintering raw materials according to a length direction of the sintering transfer car for the lower, intermediate and upper sintering raw material layers during ordinary sintering operation; setting the maximum temperature as a standard maximum temperature and the point as a standard point after obtaining a maximum temperature of the intermediate sintering raw material layer from the temperature distributions per elevations and obtaining a point in a length direction of the sintering transfer car at which the maximum temperature is displayed; and uniforming distribution of heat capacity in an elevation direction of the sintering raw material layer by simultaneously reducing a blending ratio of a solid fuel blended into the sintering raw material to 20 to 80% of an ordinary blending ratio and mixing a vapor fuel gas with the air sucked into the sintering raw material between an ignition furnace(6) and the standard point.
