PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for storing raw tea leaves capable of increasing the packing density of the leaves to level the surface of the stored leaves and increase the storage capacity of raw tea leaves. SOLUTION: A vertical hexagonal shaft 3 is rotatably placed in a storage container 1 and a sleeve 4 is slidably put on the hexagonal shaft 3. A leveling plate 7 fixed to the sleeve 4 through a bracket 5, radially extending outward and inclined downward is rotated together with the hexagonal shaft 3 and the sleeve 4 to level the raw tea leaves and lifted by the reactive force applied from the raw tea leaf.
