PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound of a specific aromatic alkane derivative which inhibits binding betweenβγsubunit of GTP-binding protein and its effector and is useful for the prophylaxis and therapy of inflammatory disease and inflammation accompanied by allergic disease and infectious disease. SOLUTION: This new compound is a compound expressed by the formula Alk-R1 [wherein Alk is a lower alkyl; and R1 is expressed by formula I (wherein R2 and R3 are each H, a halogen, a lower alkyl or the like), II (wherein A is O, S or the like; R4 and R5 are each H or a lower alkyl; and a wavy line shows a single bond having cis- or transconfiguration) or III] or its pharmacologically permissible salt, and is e.g. 2-(3- methylphenyl)-5-(methylthio)[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a] [1,3,5] triazin-7-ylamine which is obtained by employing m-tolunitrile and aminoguanidine nitrate as starting raw materials to form a compound of formula IV and by reacting the compound of formula IV with dimethyl N-cyanodithioimino carbonate.
