PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infant caring apparatus that has a mechanism to open and close the door of a heater automatically. SOLUTION: An infant caring apparatus 10 consists of an infant stand 14 to let an infant lie asleep, a vertical part 32 that extends upward from the stand, and a housing that is attached to the vertical part and that cases a heater 60 which can move near the stand between the lower and upper positions along the vertical part 32. The heater 60 has at least one door 38 that can move between the releasing position at which the heater is exposed and another releasing position at which the heater is sheltered in the housing. The infant caring apparatus also has a door moving mechanism 102 that releases the door when the heater 60 moves from the lower position toward the upper position and shutters the door when the heater 60 moves from the upper position to the lower position.
