PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cut-off structure of a faucet high in versatility and durability and excellent in usability. SOLUTION: This water cut-off structure of the faucet comprises a spherical body 8 having a water inlet 6 and a water outlet 7 connected to communicate with the water inlet 6, a turning means to turn the spherical body 8, and annular members 10, 10 to turnably hold the spherical body 8. The annular member 10 comprises a substantially flush large diameter part 13 in outer surface and a small diameter part 14 which is formed on a smooth curved surface tapered toward its tip side and abutted on the spherical body 8, a deformation preventive means 15 to prevent the deformation of the annular member 10 is provided on an inner side of the annular member 10 and on an outer side of the large diameter part 13, and the annular member 10 is pressed inwardly from the outside by the water pressure W.
