PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain sufficient torque capacity by a small size electromagnet. SOLUTION: This differential gear is provided with a main clutch 13 and a control clutch 15 arranged between torque transmitting members 9, 11, an electromagnetic 25 arranged through a specified gap 27 outside the torque transmitting member 9 for moving an armature 23 to connect to the clutch 15, a cam 19 for connecting the clutch 13 by working after receiving torque between the torque transmitting members 9, 11 when the clutch 15 is connected, and casings 3, 7 for accommodating them, and magnetic fluid is filled into at least the gap 27.
