PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer for outputting in compliance with printing conditions stored in a foregoing printing when a received printing job is stored in a given storage device and printing conditions for the specification of staple, the specification of perfecting or the like of the stored printing job are varied and output again. SOLUTION: Whether a printing job received from a host computer is same as a printing job data stored in an external memory in the foregoing printing or not is judged (S311), and in the case it is a new printing job data (YES in S311), the data is stored in an external memory (S312) and the paper carrying direction of the output printing job is stored (S313), while when the data is same as the data of printing job stored in the external memory, whether the alteration of printing conditions by the specification of staple is applied or not is judged (S314). In the case the specification is altered (YES in S314), the paper carrying direction of the printing job stored in the external memory in the foregoing printing is read out and output (S317, S318).
