PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incubator capable of stably carrying out a humidity control even if a dry gas is introduced thereinto, and to provide a microscope using the incubator. SOLUTION: The incubator comprises a vessel 8 for feeding the same with a gas where temperature, humidity and gas concentration are adjusted, an atomizer 29 installed in the vessel 8 and functioning to atomize water, and a sample chamber 1 which the gas is introduced into and a given environment is kept inside.
