PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle-revolving device with a simple structure which opens and closes a handle attached on a small cover positioned on a coke oven cover. SOLUTION: A handle-revolving device for revolving a handle 22 attached on a small cover on a coke oven cover, is equipped with a knife edge which forms a gap between or comes into contact with a seal surface at a small-cover aperture by revolving the handle 22 which is fixed to a camshaft of a cam- system. Here, at the tip of a revolving shaft 32 which moves back and forth or revolves on a frame, an end shaft 34 which is crooked against the revolving shaft 32 is placed, and a guide roller 35 is placed on the revolving shaft 34. The handle 22 is placed in contact with the guide roller 35 to revolve the handle.
