PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene film more reduced in curling and more excellent in perforation properties and transparency as compared with a polyethylene produced by a conventional water cooling type inflation molding method, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: In the water cooling type inflation molding of a polyethylene film, the film is stretched by 103-150% in a vertical axis direction after water cooling. Especially, when an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer having specific density, specific MFR and a specific decane soluble component ratio is used, a polyethylene film excellent in dart impact strength and haze can be obtained.
