PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new compound which exhibits a brilliant yellow color, when dyed, has a high color strength, high washability, excellent color fastness to washing and high compatibility, and is useful as a dye. SOLUTION: A compound of formula I [M is H, an alkali metal such as sodium or one equivalent of an alkaline earth metal; R1, R2 are each H, a (substituted) 1 to 4C alkyl; R3 is H, a (substituted) 1 to 4C alkyl, an alkoxy or the like; R4 is a (substituted) 1 to 4C alkyl, an alkoxy or the like; R5 is carboxamide, cyano or the like; X is vinyl; (n) is 0, 1 or 2], for example, a compound of formula II. The compound of formula I is obtained by reacting (A) an aromatic amine of formula III with (B) a trifluorotriazine component, reacting the reaction product with (C) an aromatic amine of formula IV, diazotizing the reaction product and then coupling the product with (D) a compound formula V.
