METHOD FOR CHOOSING CUSTOMER USING ELECTRONIC CASH REGISTER

PURPOSE: A method for choosing a customer using an electronic cash register(ECR) is provided to perform easy and transparent choosing by informing a customer immediately of choosing after programming to give a specific gift to the customer having a specific receipt number. CONSTITUTION: A user programs the number of a receipt and contents of a gift to be given to a customer through a key input unit. An ECR performs a normal action and brings out a receipt. The number of brought-out receipt is checked and compared with the predetermined number for giving a customer the gift. The ECR performs the normal action if the receipt number is not the same as the predetermined one. Otherwise, it is displayed on a display unit or alarmed by a buzzer sound that the customer is chosen for the gift. Finally, the ECR outputs the programmed gift.
