PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively control plant disease injuries with reduced dose by applying a 1,2,3-thiadiazole derivative to the seeds of an object plant or a cultivation support for an object plant. SOLUTION: An effective amount of a fungicidal composition containing, as active ingredient, a 1,2,3-thiadiazole derivative of formula I R1 is H, a 1-6C alkyl or 3-7C cycloalkyl; R2 is CO-Y-R3 [R3 is H, a 1-20C alkyl, N=C(R5)R6 (R5 and R6 are each H, a 1-6C alkyl or the like) or the like; Y is O, S or NR4 (R4 is H or a 1-6C alkyl)] or a group of formula II (X is a halogen or the like; n is 1-4)} [e.g. N-(3-chloro-4-methylphenyl)-4-methyl-1,2,3-thiadiazole-5- carboxamide] is applied to the seeds of an object plant or a cultivation support for an object plant (e.g. soil).
