A transitional bevel wheel (16) is positioned between two complementary crown wheels (24, 26), meshing with both of them. The first crownwheel (24) is permanently joined to a gear serving as the sun wheel (34) of a single-stage planetary gear; the second crown wheel (26) is permanently joined to the ring gear (36). The relative motion of the planet wheels (44) between the ring gear (36) and the sun wheel (34) results in an accumulation of the power of both branches with a high ratio of transmission.
