PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heated toilet seat requiring very little power consumption and giving no cold feeling to a person at all when he is seated. SOLUTION: A surface layer 4 having an aluminum foil 5 is formed on the upper face of a toilet seat body 2, and an induction heating coil 3 is fixed on the back side of the upper face of the toilet seat body 2. A user is detected before he is seated on a toilet stool, a high-frequency current is fed to the induction heating coil 3, and the temperature of a toilet seat 1 becomes sufficiently high when he is actually seated.
